#13 Pick up the tab.

I’m fortunate enough to have a really tight-knit group of incredible people in my life. On my bad days, they always show up (typically bearing gifts of red wine and carbohydrates).

Still crusty from yesterday’s string of crappy events, they forced me to leave my hermit hole and deal with my problems like an adult: tequila!

I’m going to keep this one short, because tequila is a cruel mistress – handing you instant happiness one moment and greedily taking it away the next morning – but my act of kindness was simply picking up the tab for the night. Maybe a seemingly simple gesture, but always a welcome surprise in my books.

I leave you with the view I got to end my night with, of the city I grow to love more with each passing day.
