#35 Pamper yourself.

I just had the most deliciously lazy Sunday.

Since my brain has been super scattered and I’ve been unable to sit down and write a coherent blog post, I’m going to keep this really concise today:

  • I spent the day being obnoxiously lazy at the super swanky Spa My Blend at the Ritz Carlton with my bestie, alternating between drinking champagne in the lounge, relaxing in the green tea hot tub (I need one of these in my place, asap!), getting the best massage of my life and lounging by the pool
  • It was fucking amazing and I scorn the fact I was not born an heiress so I could do this every day for the rest of my life
  • I had a burrito the size of a newborn baby for dinner (Yes, it was as amazing as it sounds.)

I’ve decided to cut my week of self-directed acts short. I think it was critical in recharging my batteries, but I’ve also realized I get a lot more satisfaction in carrying out acts for other people. I slowed it down, took care of myself and now I’m ready to get back to business.

I just need to stay mindful of ensuring I’m not letting my own shit slip as I continue on with this project (only 330 more days to go…!).

    • It’s the trade-off for slaving away at the large financial conglomerate – excellent benefits! 🙂
